While cleaning up the yard before the onset of winter, I noticed this amazing beauty of a heart hanging off of my garage. The paper wasps had been busy over the summer to create a love note from God of how important community is. What an awesome lesson of how important each individual is in this creation and of what can be accomplished when we are of one mind and one accord. We are more powerful than we think and we are more awesome than we could have imagined us to be. As a community under God letting the Holy Spirit lead and guide us with the mind of Christ we can accomplish the impossible. Just like the wasps that made this nest in the shape of a heart. Let love reign.
I have added another gallery that I will begin to fill over the next several weeks. Hearts in Nature feature monochrome (black and white) photographs of hearts captured in nature.
I love hearts. During sad times I have noticed a heart in nature that would catch my eye. I believe that it is God reminding me that I am not alone and that I am loved and cared for. In this busy, sometimes crazy, world it is easy to get overwhelmed. Now I make time to go out with the camera in hand to look for and capture these love tokens from God. My hope is that you enjoy them as much as I do.
I am starting to upload the art work as promised. Ready for the new adventure, I have added two more galleries to the store. In Bohemian Flowers I will be adding photographs of flowers painted over using digital art. They display beautifully on fine art paper. In Romantic Flowers, named by my husband, I will be adding photographs digitally painted to capture a romantic mood. To give you some helpful ideas I included some decorative tips in the descriptions. Here’s a tip: My personal preference when ordering a print on fine art paper is Velvet Rag. It is a 100% Cotton paper that delivers dark blacks and vivid colors. It softens the overall look of the art and gives it a painterly effect. You will not be disappointed.
Been busy planning. I think I spend too much time planning and not enough time just doing. Sometimes I even catch myself procrastinating. I wondered why I do that and I finally realize that procrastination comes out of fear. Fear of failure? Nope. If I don’t progress forward then I have already failed. Staying stagnate equals failure as well. So already being in failure I am not afraid to fail. So it must be a fear of success. What if you actually like what I make and I have to try to do better and succeed in areas that I have never succeeded in before? What if that changes life as I know it now? What will I do?
All I know is I feel like I am up for an adventure. So come along with me and we will both see what happens. After all, life is meant to be lived.
So I have been uploading photos to the store front. I am pushing forward to see what really happens. I will never know if I do not try. Soon I will begin uploading the art. Some of it you may have seen before and some of it you have not seen yet.
So, if you do like what I create then tell others about it and make a purchase.
The website is still under construction. We have changed a few things. I still operate Photos by Tonya out of my home in Cambridge, Ohio with my step-daughter assisting me. Yes, that’s right these past two years have been a whirlwind of a courtship leading up to my getting married and adjusting to family life requiring me to move.
Photos by Tonya now specializes in photographing infants. We can hardly wait to share those images as we build this side of the business on the Photos by Tonya page. A page dedicated on this website only to that side of the business.
Time Made Beautiful is changing to include my photographic and visual art. I am very excited about all of this. I have joined Pixels.com and Fine Art America.com to handle the processing and shipping of my art. Very soon you will see the images available and a shopping cart to make it easy for you to purchase what you like. Pixels.com and Fine Art America.com allow me to make more products available to you. These products include not only canvases or prints but also phone cases, pillows, towels, and even coffee mugs! Ahh, for the love of a good cuppa coffee. Yes, I thought making more products available to you would allow you to have art where you want it…in your hands.
